Prep time about 10 mins - Cook Time about 25 mins - Eat time about 90 seconds

Ingredients

375 g of fresh or frozen (defrosted!!!) Puff Pastry
4 Ripe Bananas
300g jar of Toffee Sauce

Method

Preheat oven to 200C (Gas mark 6)
Lightly grease a 24cm Cake / Tart Tin
Cut the pastry to fit - (but don't put in the tin yet)
Peel and cut the Bananas into rings of equal (...ish) size.
Place the banana rings in a single layer on the bottom of the tin
Pour the Toffee Sauce evenly over the top of the bananas
Place the circle of Puff Pastry over the top, loosely tuck in any edges
Bake in the oven for approx 25 mins (or until Pastry is Golden Brown)
Remove from oven and allow to stand for a couple of minutes to cool a little
Turn out upside down onto a plate so the pastry is on the bottom
Serve with Cream or a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream

ENJOY! Very Happy

Hi John and Tracy, well I found a great sauce on the second try.

It's in a plastic sachet with a spout on the corner. John is tastes just like rich Werther's toffee. Beautiful. Now to make the tart. lol

Sounds good John.

If you can't find toffee sauce what about trying Maple syrup?

Maple syrup wouldn't work because it doesn't cook well in the manner of the recipy - it's more of a pouring syrup.

Maple syrup goes REALLY well on:
