| I was sitting in my recliner one Saturday morning, having a cup of coffee, the sun was coming in past the blinds and lit up the scene. | |

| "clone out"? I take it that's some thing you do in the editor. I don't have an editor, yet. I've been using the editor in ACDSee to adjust contrast, color and brightness and it does have a couple of effects, sepia, embossing, etc. but no cloning. What editor do you use? and what features do you think an editor "must" have, "should" have and features you'd "like" to have.
Thanks for your comments and advice.

| Cloning is when you are able to remove or add parts of the image in your case you clone part of the wall over the plaque and wee bit of green to remove it.
I use Photoshop CS2. It will do just about anything you want it to do. Except walk your dog. It is only limited to your imagination. But it is expensive.
There is a smaller unit of Photoshop that you can get for a much more reasonable price called Photoshop Elements. I am not sure which version is the latest. There is also Paintshop Pro. Some members here use this program and it is also reasonably priced.
Basically these editing programmes are your digital darkroom. Worth every penny in my opinion.
I hope this helps.

| Nice still life John. I agree with Emilie about cloning out the elements at the top of the pic (when you have a proper photo editing prog). I use Photoshop 7 myself but Elements has the basics which you need. |

| Very nice still life !! You really Do need an editing program, I have PSP v9, X, and XI and I also have PSCS2. PSP XI is more photography based than the earlier versions, and pretty user friendly. It's also alot cheaper that the CS2. | |

Can you fill in the blanks for me?
Thanks Confused as usual Griz | |
