-Griz not my area of expertise lol glad you think i'm one of the pros John  i just know that you can reduce it in ps, if you shoot it in RAW there is a function in ps cs3 to help reduce fringing I think Robin might be your best bet for explain why it happens though. Priscilla it's a very nice shot of the egret and i agree your crop suits it very well good job! | |

| Blimey that flight from the USA took a wee bit of time eh! priscilla.
Really great you've made it and landed here in TIFF - I've told you zillions of times what a great bunch we have here , now's the time to see for yourself. Enjoy!
Nice one to start with, John (Janika) is our bird (feathered!!!!) expert so anything you ask I am sure he will help (as will others!)
As for the red fringe Griz - dunno - I'll try to work it out.
