Finally today I had some time to get out of the house and shoot some bird images. I saw the usual Red winged black birds, Chickadees, Nuthatches, Woodpeckers and so on, but really wanted to find and photograph birds I don't see every day, so here are three to share. I think the first one is a Cooper's Hawk, the second is a Sap sucker, and the third one I forgot, but some birdwatchers told me when I was out today. Enjoy.

Thanx Jono, Name correction; The second one is Northern Flicker and the third one is a Rose-Breasted Grosbeak.

Stunning series - #1 has the perfect pose but #2 does it for me - great clarity with various textures ~ John
