| this is perfect Tracy no suggestions, you can't improve on perfection, i love the water beads, it's pin sharp but the rose still looks soft and the colour is spot on absolutely fantastic | |

| Very Nice Tracy, good strong colour and the water droplets are spot on. |

| I've got to say this is a bit cheeky, Tracy, taking what is damn near a perfect rose shot and trying to rework it, but the bright petal top right kept bugging me, so I brought it into PS to darken it down to the rest of the bloom - which let me to check the levels, which are low in the whites, but it's a dark image, so that's fine - however, in checking the levels I found with a little tweak the centre of the rose seemed to gain an almost spotlit effect - so I did a seperate layer like that, and blended it in by erasing all but the centre where the light gathered... next I sharpened the image, and did almost the reverse, removed all the sharpening except on the water drops, just giving them a bump in clarity - the tweaks are minor, but they're what I'd do before putting the image into competition: |
