| All I can do is go with the flow...it's frozen outside, so tabletop shooting is what I'm going to do to amuse myself...C/C welcome. | |

| Nice composition Terri - love the DOF through the window - may I suggest a crop to lose the glass vase at the bottom - I find it a wee bit distracting - but 'hey!' thats just me! John | |

| I actually got these two weeks ago to shoot...they are on their last legs...hence, shooting from behind their faces. See the shine on the bottom of the window sill...that would be frost! | |

| Seeing your pics of indoor subjects is getting me interested in having a go.
i am on holiday next week from work so if it is lousy weather then I might just have a go.
I like the warm glow to the petals and the light from the window but agree with John about the bowl at the bottom. |

| Well Stewart, with you on holiday next week, there will be no excuses as to why you can't take a picture of yourself with your computer for us. Or perhaps we could get Gemma to take one for us?    | |

| This is a wonderful photo Terri. I like it. I always like to see a different angle on flowers.
That location, with that beautiful window, is perfect for those "Good Morning" Shots.

| Terri, great image. I love the comp and angle. One suggestion, another shot with flower closer to the window, and frost on the window, showing the cold outside and the warmth for the flowers inside. | |

| Thanks everyone...
Robin, I would reshoot...but, those flowers bit the dust. Maybe, I have a reason to go buy another bunch. The local florist has a special on Wed for $5.
Stewart, I'll try and clone out the vase...otherwise, I lose the lower part of the sill.
Cold again today...you know what I'll be doing! (Stewart...mind out of the gutter!) | |

| If I were you, I would go out and get yourself some new flowers. It is ONLY -25 Degrees F here this morning.....I think any of us that have to put up with this cold should get flowers. I am stopping on my way home from work today to get some......that is a great idea. | |

| This is really beautiful Terri, such wonderful light. It would be well worth the time to clone out the glass. Can't lose the bottom of the window. lol |

Phew, I'm glad that wasn't Stuart, 'cos MY mind was already IN the gutter, and it can take ages to drag it kicking and screaming back out once it's settled in... |
