| I want to make some limoncello. I've found a bunch of recipes on the net but I'd love to have one from someone I know. So, anybody got a recipe for limoncello? -Griz PS: if you have any other homemade liquor recipes I'd love to hear about them. | |

| No, the recipes I've been looking at start with Everclear or some form of pure grain alcohol. The limoncello recipes I've seen on the net have you soak the zest of anywhere from 5 to 15 lemons in a liter of Everclear for anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months. Then strain out the peels and add syrup made from 2lbs of sugar and a liter of water. Some say you can drink it right away some say age it for as long as you can. So you can see it would be nice to have some advice on just what to do. -Griz | |
