Thanks everyone...I've been trying to fill my portfolio with food and product shots. I was hired to do some freelance shoots here...one was a pizza place...I shot everything on their menu for their website and advertising. I also just sent some sample shots to a winery and am waiting to hear back if they are hiring me to shoot all their product.

Right now, I have to work around my kids...Nate's still at home. But, once he starts school fulltime...this is what I want to focus on. So...I plod along trying to build my portfolio.

Often, I come up with my shots for challenges over at DPChallenge.com. Man, they are harsh...below is a shot I did this last week...and it's getting hammered!!! People like the shot...I've gotten 5 excellent comments and one person made it a favorite...but it's scoring very badly. The challenge was "childhood":
