to me the greens look a little too dark and maybe the darkest of the blue in the sky, but it depends on the effect you're after, this is just a suggestion for an experiment to try but next time you're out shooting why not try taking the shot in b&w as well as colour using the same settings (obviously) then try to achieve what the camera produced for the b&w in your colour shot and see how that goes, i've been meaning to try this myself but have never remembered to do it when i had the right shot for it

How are you converting to B/W? What is your workflow?

Taking the original image and converting in Channel Mixer, ticking the Monochrome box.

Red 140%

Green 0%

Blue -40%

Levels and curves to taste and 10% increase in contrast if needed.


I do tend to experiment once I have the image converted and in the bag by trying different settings and even blending it with the original. Very Happy
