Compositionally it is OK.
The tree on the right hand edge, brighter on, catches the eye a little.
It is also slightly overexposed, the right hand side of the building as you look at it will show you that.
With a liitle work this one could come out a little better, but still a very good effort from someone who has only just picked up a DSLR.

DSLR
Digital Single Len Reflex.
It means what you see in the viewfinder is exactly what the camera takes. With Non DSLRs your viewfinder is slightly offset.
