My father in law used to brew his own beer and was once voted the best in the south of England. He then went on to judge beers/ales and wines.

Actually Iv'e brewed a few ales and wines in my time also a neat carrot whiskey,so did my husband at the time (now my EX)

I might add that at nearly 90 my dad in law makes a fantastic pasty.

I took a number of shots (I was amazed, the barmaid patiently put up with my sillyness and never did ask me to stop )
This one was the best of the lot. I think I'm going to go back and ask the head brewer, we talked to him for a while but he had a brew in the kettle and couldn't stay long, if I can get a tour (read photo op) of the brewery Very Happy

Neat as in good,great etc.. Carrots are used to make a whiskey type alcoholic drink.
