Certainly the principal of "Stop Motion" (shutter speed) is displayed but the shots appear to be suffering from camera shake (??) - looking at the fencing wire is what suggests it to me. Without camera shake the 2nd shot especially could look good.....
Oh!....and that red border............... (well in my opinion anyway - and thats from a bloke who suffered the insults / comments from others for frames & matte I have used / experimented with for a Lllllooonngg time!!)

Kathy I suffer from John shake all the time (can someone design a SHAKE icon pls!!) - hence my increasing use of a tripod and remote control (when I remember - that's just an age thing!! )
As for the red border - it certainly did match the top - but who says you can't use it - be brave... stand up against the purists!!
