| Being all water orientated 'cos of my fish atm, the colour of that stuff looks shocking... (not because of your shot, because of the water) - the image, however, is spot on, really well captured, and presented... I'd give you a 9, probably a 10 depending on what else was on display...
Cheers, Stuart |

| The water at Southsea has a Blue Flag for its cleaness so it is safe to swim in.
It is probably the algae and seaweed that bring out the colour more than anything else. |

| My thanks to you Robin and John.
One of the things I have learnt in the last year or so is to look all around me even up and down.
This shot was taken from about thirty feet above it from the top of the Sally Port walls in Old Portsmouth. |

| Great idea for a shot Stewart....but just a dumb question....what do you mean, the water has a blue flag, so it is safe to swim? Pollution or what? | |

| Being a member of the European Union the water is tested to make sure it is clean for swimming and if it is it get a blue flag. |

| Nobody...with any sense anyway....swims in that section of water.
The tides at the Harbour entrance are extremely dangerous and there is more than a good chance you would be hacked to death by the blades of the ferries as they go in and out of there. :earplug: |

| I like it !! The rocks almost look like they were placed carefully to create the color lines. But......the water doesn't look to clean !! :) | |

| Thanks for your pesponse Kathy. The water tends to look murky most of the time because of the amount of boats and ships making their way in and out of the Harbour. The occasional Dolphin is known to pop in as well. |
