| It's was a prolific (and freezing cold) trip. This is at the edge of the Horseshoe Falls. Kat |

| Wow...great capture Kat! I love how the snow is just hanging on the branches...I gotta say, I could do without the branch entering the pic from the upper left...but, otherwise a excellent image. | |

| Thanks, S & T. I hate that darned left-side "fork" too. I have more pix from here - I'll have to see if I got a better angle. Sharon, I really wished that you were here for these. Have to tell you - you would have had a mess with the wheelchair (too much gloppy snow to deal with.) I'm writing a long email later today to answer a variety of questions, etc. I'll send it to you all; you can read the parts you want. The trip home is a chapter in itself! Yikes!!!! I did add the access codes to see all the unedited, uncaptioned, un-everything images on the other thread.
All is captioned, if still unedited! Sharon, you'll see about the walks and inaccessibility. |

| Kat...Hope you don't mind, I played a little with this one. I tried turning it b/w...but, then it just looks like ice...and not a waterfall. | |

| This place is amazing for photographers. Terri - play away with ANY of my photo's! Now that you removed the upper part of the Fork, you might want to take care of the lower part. (it looks like something slightly off-color!)
It's such an odd situations with the colors. The water, mist, and air make all the pix look like B&W's to start with, don't they? But, the couple I tried also didn't work out that way. |

| It was definitely a tad chilly. But, I layered up (so the much hated coat was unnecessary.) There is an image (1896?) in the Sunday pix of a navy blue Polar Bear. It's really me wearing: heavy cotton panties, long john bottoms, jeans, heavy hiking socks and boots, a long cami, long john top, turtle neck sweater, sweat shirt, heavy sweat shirt with hoodie pulled up over huge earmuffs and a scarf with a over-the-head cover. Add mittens with hoods to cover open fingers - thick and lined. Yep! never missed the coat. lollllllllllllllllllll |

| Terri; Nice rework, but it was up to Kat to shoot such of beautiful place. Never been here in the Winter time. Those branches with the thick ice just add to the Winter drama.. Coooooo! | |
