| Sharon great image...really clear and nice DOF. Although, I don't think it's a Robin...they are our state bird, and well, I'm not a bird watcher...but, this doesn't look like one to me. | |

| Very nice Sharon. You are good at these types of photos I can't take a picture of anything that moves . I think I might have to velcro my son to the floor soon to get a good photo of him | |

| thanks Terri, John & Emilie, Terri we have a different kind of Robin in Great Britain, totally different from yours but rest assured it IS a robin, John, i think i'll save this one for my xmas cards for later this year, Emilie these are usually really quite tame and easy to shoot although this one this morning was darting about like a maddie but patience paid off | |

| I know nothing about birds...the Robin is probably one of about five that I know by name. It is a great pic...and I agree, it will look great on a X-mas card! | |

| Gosh, I forgot - in my researching fervor - to mention what a splendid picture that is, Sharon! Were you using a new Tele-lens? (I'm sort of missing news from everyone on occasion.) k |

| Dunno what the fuss is about the blue one... yours *could* have been a blue throated, but apparently it's actually the even rarer yellow/green throated robin... |

| Sharon, what a great shot. Our Robin's are much longer and have more reddish brown on their breast over here. As for me, I have not red on my breast, it's as white as a babies... well, I leave the rest to your imagination. - kathysPix wrote:

| aaaaaah - quit your whining, Kathy. Spring is just around the corner! (or so said that furry little rodent in Pennsylvania! lolllllllllllllllllllllllllll) We're still having sub-zero temps for the 7th day this month! (so much for Global Warming, eh?)
Btw, I'm the one who is rarely cold (usually, way too hot - even before that "time in life!"), but I've had my pretty pink thermal long-johns on as one of 5 layers of clothing every day this week!. Yikes! I even took some of my Sunday morning pictures on the Detroit River from the car instead of the tripod. PS: Techie Hint > turn off the car engine when using window edge for bracing (it helps avoid shake-blur.) k-k-k-k-k-k-kat |

| Sharon.....sorry I missed this one yesterday. It is a great shot. Although I am a tad confused, as I am not a bird gal what so ever.....what color did you really see on the robin before you shot it? | |
