| I have never seen this flower anywhere, growing, in books or on the internet. I found it today at the home where Brenton is. Where we walk every Sunday. I am amazed and excited. If anyone can help I would love to know what it is. |

| Thanks for looking in your books Vanetta.
Fee it is in the garden of the home where Brenton is. I have walked this path for 30 odd years, I'm sure it hasn't been there that long. but it is not a small bush. Never seen flowers on it before. Maybe it is an Aussie Native and likes the drought. Maybe it gets more sunlight because a lot of the garden has died. ????? |

| Well I have found out what the flower is.
Calothamnus quadrifidus.... there are about 40 different varieties of this species. But this one seems the nearest. Having the 4 long petal sections. An native plant from Western Australia. They have 1000's of different plants originating over there. |

| Fee I hadn't seen one either till last Sunday. :-) Vanetta, you maybe able to grow in a very large pot for a couple of years but then it would need to go into the ground. Sandy and well drained soil.
John, you really are as crazy as Cathie with her Gotjanikus Stumpedifer lol |
