late night visitors

sitting watching tv the other night with the windows open cos it was so hot, i heard this snuffling noise right under the window, went out to investigate and lo and behold there were 2 hedgehogs, i'm not sure if they were having a fight or some kind of mating ritual was going on but i couldn't resist taking some shots, the first shot is a bit blurry as in the excitement i didn't stop to sort settings etc

How lucky can you be???

I tried so many times when I was in England, one came to visit every night, but he could see us too and as soon as we moved to grab the camera he shot back through the hedge.

Even though the first one is blurry, it still a keeper.....and the second shot is so clear. Nice work Sharon.

thanks Jan, they seem to be fairly unfazed by humans here, they don't even bother too much when the dogs come out to sniff at them, they just curl up in a ball, they seem to wait until we go back inside before running off, almost as if they are afraid if they move when we are there, we will give chase or something lol maybe they think if they don't move we can't see them
