Our flat "The randolph's on Ferry Lane"

This was a British home my family lived in for 3 years. The photo is nearly 40 years old. I'm just sick about it as it's losing it's color and everything. I wanted to fix it up for my mom who has Alzheimer's...she's really "stuck in-our English home, friends, place etc.
Yes, I'm the dummy that wrote on it with pen.
Is this beyond repair?

Noooo, this can be easily fixed Prisc. I will have a go, but others may be better than me.

We can't afford to lose the memory shots.

I had a try Priscilla, I'm sure someone will do better. I have saved it if you need it later. :-)

i have never had a go at this sort of thing before but i will try too.... cant promise anything of course but you never know!!

I had a go Pris and this is the best I can manage, maybe someone else can do an even better restoration. C'mon guys have a go!!

it was difficult because the original picture is so poor. it was easy to get the writing taken out of course. i tried to get a bit of colour back into the shot with the first one but it wasnt very successful.
