| here is the blurb..... this is part of fountains abbey The CellariumAmazingly the cellarium roof has remained intact and the lay brothers ate, slept and socialised here, beneath the incredible vaulted ceiling which escaped Henry VIII’s brutal sixteenth century dissolution of the abbeys. it was reallllly dark down here...... had to leave the shutter open a long time to let in enough light for this one!!

| thanks again! i'm lucky that i have fountains abbey on my doorstep. i go there often just for a walk.
i prefer the photomatix for hdr because i like the 'surreal' look it gives you over photoshop. you can control how 'surreal' you want it to look. it wouldnt suit all photos of course but for old buildings it looks great. | |

| I've been spending all my time rebuilding the deck in our back yard! Our youngest decided it was time to get married and he wants a garden wedding, in our yard, on the deck. The deck was in "iffy" condition, the framing had a bad case of dry rot and I was afraid it wouldn't stand up to the stress. Last thing I need is for it to collapse under the wedding party So I'm rebuilding it. It was going to be my summer project this year anyway, Jon's request just shortened this schedule a little Pics of "The Project" on Google http://picasaweb.google.com/jmoss80917/TheProject It's sweet you missed me -Griz | |

| Thanks Emmie
My middle son got married in the backyard,,, 6 years ago (the deck was in much better shape back then) It was very nice. He only gave us 2 weeks notice so we didn't have time to get too worked up. Planted a few flowers and that was about it. I'm glad Jon gave us a little more notice or I'd have had to say no The deck "might" have made it, but I'd've been a wreck *lol*
I'll post some more pics as I get things done
