Great idea,
I love the used quality of the shoes. I see them hung over a rail with the mirror behind it, soft lit windows at the far end of an empty dance studio seen in the mirror...
Unfortunately the "used" quality doesn't work for this picture.

| I have to agree with Griz, the used look of the front slipper is detracting from the quality and colour of the rest of the image. Some careful cloning should deal with it though. |

| Well, I'm going to disagree with you...I picked these pointe shoes because, they had a bit of wear. I did not want brand new shoes...they don't represent what I was looking for. Thanks for your thoughts.
BTW, this shot is scoring very high right now...it's running in contention for a top ten out 180. | |
