Jan, Don't give up on the SLR system! It takes much practice and at the end it pays off, You see. This is one nice shot, full of detail and good focus...

I agree with John - don't give up on SLR - I recall being very frustrated when I moved from my Fuji s7000 to the 350D - now I wouldn't go back. You have a wonderful camera.................~ John

Thanks guys, I am just so frustrated at the moment. camera settings, lens, sore back! not being able to stick at it for more than 1/2 hour at a time.
