Eastern Sky

Taken at Farlington on 22-01-2008, looking towards the Eastern Road that goes into Portsmouth.

It was the sky that caught my attention though not the road.

Cool shot, I have found it quite difficult to a good picture there. I nice little walk there too.

I like the colors in the sky, and the separation from the sky and the golden water.

You have not stood where Stewart took this picutre, Its rather loud, being next to a very busy motorway. However it is also a nature reserve and if you walk away from the road the noise does subside, and then you get to see all the wild life and birds living in the man made marshes.

maybe that makes it an even better picture?

Jono's right, it isn't a quiet , peaceful place.
The traffic passing by this spot is non stop as the road on the right is one of the main arteries into the city.

first time ive seen this shot i love it, it is so menacing it gives an evel air about it, it just has something about it, great shot Stew
