Its so cold here all we've got in the garden are dead looking sticks - waiting for warmth before they dare pop a bud! hey ho! | |

| Thanks for commenting John. This was the only flower I caught. We have the opposite to you, no rain just a dust bowl for a garden. |

| Jan I like the angle... But the depth is just a bit off for me. I would like to have seen the orange bud thingys in focus too. But I still like the concept. Good job. | |

| Jan; You should have no problem focusing with the 100 /2.8, I have that lens and even in the dark it focuses fine, Unlike my 50 f/1.8 Your flower is very pretty for sure... | |

| Jan what are your settings? From your settings, I can give parameters to follow that will bring the flower a bit more in focus. | |

| Info Robin. The above photo was taken at F2.8 New Photo here was taken at F4, details on pic. Maybe I should have used a smaller F-stop still. |

| f5.6 would keep the background blurred, and the foreground orange things infocus. Better. | |

| Thanks Robin, I will have to stop using Auto, the ISO goes always to 400, I don't like that. I really appreciate you help! |
