Adelaides most overshot sunset, 2007

I figure there were between 20 and 30 camera club photographers all merrily trying to grab shots of this sunset last night - so I thought I should beat Cathie and Jan to posting it...

This was shot with the help of two polarisers as an ND filter - I'll be interested to see what else came of it from down on the beach...

Now I think Stuart is a bit of a hansome guy, but I have to agree the sunset is beautiful. :lol:

We should have the stereotypical tourist shot of the jetty and the sunset, too, right?? - they've got a big viewing platform on top of the beach toilet/shower block - handy for eating fish & chips while you shoot the sunset though... (the chippy closed at 8pm - the shoot officially finished at 8.30pm - typical camera club, no sense of priorities... :) )

Question: Are these spectacular sunsets a nightly occurence - or is this something your local camera club arranges for your scheduled Shoots?

Btw, that's an interesting little UFO just up and to the left of the middle light pole.

Just a seagull... they were coming from miles off to squawk "Mine Mine Mine" 'cos I had fish`n`chips... :-)

Two great images Stuart, I did get one of the sunset, too busy getting up and down from ground level. :lol:
