| Way Cool! I like the first 2 planes, all 4 pictures are great (although if it were me I might play with the contrast and color on the 1st 2 just to see if I could get them to pop a little) What kind of planes are in the 1st 2 shots? Matter of fact maybe you could add titles to the shots. Sorry, couldn't help myself. I just had to play a little -Griz | |

| Thanks Jono
I love planes! got it from my father too. He joined the Army Air corp in WWII although he never got to fly. The war ended before he finished training and since he signed up "for the duration" they let him go. He had a Cessna 152 and flew right up til he passed on.
As for the pics. I was using the editor in Picasa so I'm not real sure how it translates to CS or PSP. I increase the "fill light" until the pic looks almost washed out (boost the mid range brightness) Then increase the "Shadows", not sure if it's contrast or black level, or both but it darkens the picture, brings out the color and gives better definition. Then I used a tool call "Graduated Tint" in a darker shade of blue. It colors over the aircraft as well as the back ground so to fix that I used a magic wand called "one click color fix" it is suppose to be used to remove an overall tint like you get from florescent lights but in this case it removes the color from the air craft leaving a light blue tint on the sky. And last I used the sharpen tool.
don't know if that helps but that's what I did.

PS: Bring on the planes! | |

| You post as many pics as you want of these planes Jono. They are superb. The first one is still in use in Kilmarnock isn't it? Considered a modern form of transport up there. |
