I really like how you have taken and presented this Jan.
The diagonal composition and good strong colour make this a very good shot indeed.

Stewart: Some instructions

Firstly this group was like this on the huge bush. I can't think what they call it. It is tall and grows on a tall frame, cascading down.

I angled the camera to get the diagonal. Cloned out what I didn't want. It was late afternoon so the background was black (nearly)

Adjusted levels, clarified in PSP, couple of times at 5. Add remove noise > edge smoothing. (something like that)

back to PShop and upped the saturation a bit and tidied up with a bit of burning around the edges. I have fixed the background since posting on here. There are a few sus spots in the black.

Jan - it's nice to know I am not the only person who bouces a photo between PSP & Photoshop - using the bits of the programme I know ....................
