Marking New Posts

Is there a way that you can have a check or arrow or something on a forum that has a new post ??

there is Kathy, all the icons down the side of the forums are orange with a triangle in the middle if the triangle is white then there are new posts in that forum if the triangle is orange then there are no new posts

I must admit it took me a long time to actually figure this out also. Blonde you know...It is rather difficult at first glance. It would be nice if we were able to change colour. The other thing that is difficult to read is the block letter in the buttons. Some of them are smashed together. Maybe it is the wee hours of the morning and I need my eyes checked....

is that in the past ten minutes Emilie? for the buttons i mean, as i've just changed them to make them easier to read

No the buttons have always been like this on this new site. I did notice your change at the top. It is a wee bit better but not much. The block letters in the boxes and the letters have a two tone to them also makes it difficult to read

You can't miss the blue triangles now and the new boxes are easier to read.

Great Sharon, the blue really stands out.
Next question, I'm sure this can't be done but...........
is there anyway the blue can stay until I have seen that thread, if I have to log off or do it accidently :lol: they all disappear. The same thing happens on that other site. So I think I am banging my head of a brick wall.

you are all most welcome, that is what i'm here for Jan you are right it's something i can't change (it bugs me too) best suggestion i can come up with is start using the view unanswered as an alternative, i know it's a pain going back and forth but best i can come up with sorry
