| I was over at my buddy Bob's and had my camera out trying to get some shots of the humming birds on his back deck. Never did get a decent shot of the little buggers but I did get a nice shot of a Hibiscus Flower. -Griz | |

| wow what a bright colour, nicely captured Griz, this would be a great candidate for a black background, that bright colour should be really easy to select against the already dark bg and would make the flower really pop | |

| Nicely captured Griz. I agree about the background changes but do get the leaves along with the flower. |

| What a stunning colour - nicely captured Griz - I agree with Sharon & Stewart - this would look awesome with a black background.......... can I have your permission to have a go??

John, please do. I downloaded GIMP but I haven't loaded it on my machine yet so I'm still using the editor from Picasa and it doesn't have selective cropping. Anyway I think you're right, a black background would be stunning.
Do I need to send you the original file? It's a jpg, I didn't save it in raw format *cringe*
