| thanks Tracy, i went to dry brush in the filters menu under artistic, then just played around with the sliders till i was happy | |

| thanks Kathy, funny story goes with this one, I had to take a self portrait for my disabled badge and had nothing to focus on so i told skye to sit in the chair i was going to sit in for the portrait and used her to focus the camera, it was hilarious trying to get her off the chair and pose before the timer clicked the shutter i never intended to use the photo of her, but it turned out ok apart from the blown background | |

| Excellent effect on this Sharon. Try close cropping it to lose the white background. |

| thanks guys and gals, Stewart it might be fairly easy to select only the white and change the colour, rather than crop, what do you think? | |

| The crop has improved it somewhat although even tighter might be even better. The background colour is fine although I still prefer the white. |
