Very nice effects. I looks like if I was walking through the brush it would be crunching under my feet;)

I couldn't have put it better myself Kathy.

The grass is very coarse and that was what I wanted people to think when they looked at it.

If you try to pull up a piece of that grass you are more than likely to cut yourself.

Nice leading lines! And I like the post.

Do you have an action for your frames that you could share with Jan and I? I am not particularly fond of the ones I have.

Jan and Terri, I have alot of frame tutorials they are for PSP, but probably could be done in PS with some work around. They all have step by step with pictures & some screen shots so you would get the general idea.Let me know and I will post links for you

Adding the frames is fairly simple.

I add mine when the image is still 300ppi as it can be a bit hit and miss at lower ones.

Go to IMAGE>CANVAS SIZE

Change the box which says inches to pixels then make the count 20 in both boxes, making sure you choose the correct colour you want as background colour.

Do the same thing again but change the background colour to white or whatever and the pixel count to 15.

Repeat again changing the background colour back to the first one and make the pixel count 10.

One more time, change the colour then change the size boxes to inches then make the count 1 in each box.

I think black and white work best for frames and my recent ones are a 10 pixel black line then a 2 inch white outer frame, it makes the pic look like it has been printed the old fashioned way.

Stewart, this is like a beautiful painting (not to denegrate photography, but you know what I mean - you can feel the texture!) I'd hang this on my wall in a nano-second!

As for the frame - it seems like you could easily do with in PSP using the borders feature too. Just remember to do the inside border's pixel measurements first - working to the outside.

Thank You Kat.

It means a lot to me when someone likes one of my pics enough that they would hang it in their home. Very Happy
