Cute snake!

While the eagles were napping, a couple of us went down to the near by pond. Look what I got!

Superb captures Jane.

It is usually quite hard to photograph one of these slippery customers.

You must have disturbed Hiss/hers sleep.

LOL!!! Thanks Stewart! No, it was slithering around the pond, came up through the grass & just stared at me! I loved it!!

Nice shots Jane, i would have fallen over backwards trying to get away. lol

I will admit I am now concerned that Emilie has confessed to having worms - had it been Stewart I wouldn't have batted an eyelid - after all who knows what he eats from his local takeaway - but Emilie you need treatment.....fast.

OMG I just about pee'd my pants ...yet again. Let me claiify...I don't have them I just don't like them. Especially those brown earthworms. I the only thing I hate after a rain shower all those worms come crawling out...yuk

see how they wiggle and squirm,
you bite off the heads and you sook out the juice,
then you throw the skins away,
oh what fun it is to have worms 3 times a day
