| I was hoping for some feedback on this one as I am considering putting it on my shortlist for next seasons open entries at the Camera Club.
Any thoughts? |

| Ok ............
When I first looked and again on this occasion I thought "Stewart - you can do better" (sorry if a wee bit blunt)
The sky is stunning (had to start with the sky..... )
But the angle doesn't work for me - the odds bit of tree, roofline and gun are distracting to the straight line of the bank.
The shot is split in half by the bridge but it's almost unbalanced by that because all the visuals are in the top right but the bottom left is just too.....dead??
I am reading this and it seems brutal but please take the comment with honest intention of 'constructive' feedback.
(Old Portsmouth if memory serves me correct???)
Just my 2p worth - I guess not what you wanted to read but honest all the same.

| I agree with John...I think the bridge may have worked on an angle had there not been the building behind it. And there is so much debris on the roof line...really distracting. Also, the foreground water and the dark part of the sky are rather grainy.
You know I love your work...so, it pains me when I disagree with an image.

| I see what you are saying about the horizon being a bit fussy. That could be a bit of a clone job. The water I can't do much about as it was very choppy and with the reflections in it the surface came out like that. I am going back down there in a couple of weeks so I might try it from a few different angles, maybe from the top of the bank you can see. |
