| There will be eleven rounds to this years Monthly Challenge comp so lets see some serious entries and good luck. Remember, someone will be crowned Monthly Challenge champ at the end. The first round challenge is as follows. I want you to produce a Valentines Card seeing as it is this month.
you must produce it in its entirety, images and words.
All images must be taken in the open period and the entries must be posted on this thread by midnight GMT 21st Feb.
GOOD LUCK

| *Bugger*... the one thing that stops me entering challenges like these is the necessity to reshoot images I already have in my archives... I have over 80,000 shots from the past five years or so, plenty of which would be eminently suitable to use to create a card - but when it comes down to it, the limitation of shooting within a certain time frame when I'm already busy cuts me right out... |

| That is the whole point of calling it a challenge, three weeks to do it in and on the 14th ample subjects for you to take piccies of. :) |

| I actually appreciate that particular rule! It forces me to get creative and go out and shoot! I love having deadlines! | |

| With these monthly challenges there are no rules regarding what you do as long as it is done during the open period.
I am looking for entries that get over the valentine message. :) |

| Can we place more than one entry?? I have one in mind right now, but it's not necessarily what I'll put in if I get a chance to 'shoot to win'... lol |

| Sorry Stuart, one entry only. You can change your entry at any time during the open period though. |

| As you can see from my entry, I *am* the eternal romantic... Now to see if I can get the shot I want in time... be afraid, be very afraid... I have Goth friends and I'm not afraid to use 'em... :) It *can* be an artistic nude valentines day card, right?? (And I *can* use the term 'artistic' with a fair bit of licence, too???) |

| There will be no restriction on the content of the entries at this time as there are no children in the membership.
The Threads are likely to be locked and moved to an archive forum which will be placed in a secure area with access granted to the Adult members only once the rounds are finished. :) |
