went to see amy macdonald in leeds a couple of weeks ago, gosh she is good.

taken with my lumix tz5 at quite a distance, no tripod, they are a bit shaky but not too bad considering!!

any one else like amy?? i guess it's only us in the UK that know her..

Linda thinks she's great - not so much to my personal taste. So the CD is in Lindas car!!!

Did you ram up the ISO ??

well the tz5 doesnt have much in the way of manual settings. but, i had it on max of iso 400 (auto iso). i also had the camera held over my head because i was at the back of the uni with hundreds of people standing in front of me!

You did welll under the circumstances Fee, I would be happy t o get shots like this. :-)

thank you! my old compact only has a 3X zoom so isnt much good for this sort of thing. i bought the lumix because it has a 10X zoom expecially for concerts etc. would be better at a seated concert a bit nearer the front. am going to see the australian 'pink floyd tribute band' next week so i will have another go at that! i have seats on the third row i think!! better take my earplugs......

Wow lucky you! We have some really great bands in Aus now.
