| This is an awesome portrait of your da. I hope you don't mind, it looked a wee bit flat on my monitor and so, I gave it a little pop and sharpened his eyes. He has the most amazing eyes. A good portrait like this should have those eyes sharp as a tack. Well done I love this. Great DOF here also. I love the expression on his face. Here is a side by side comparison and the larger image like the one you posted is below it. There are many ways to give your image a little pop. levels, curves etc. But in this case I used the Brightness/contrast and boosted the contrast just a tad. The key is to always have your contrast number higher than your brightness number. Then I zoomed into the eyes and sharpened them. Again, he has amazing eyes. hugs Emilie | |

-Griz In this case I didn't. There was not much white showing to make any kind of notice. It depends on the situation but you have to be careful that you don't over do the whites that it looks unnatural. hugs Emilie | |
