stunning Griz, only thing i could suggest is a tiny bit more contrast between sky and snow, boost the cyan in the sky to achieve and it's there!!

i would try contrast first and see how it turns out, if that didn't work for me then i'd try selecting the sky (very carefully)(then feather by just a few pixels maybe 4 or 5) and boost the blues/cyans, i'll give it a go if you like and let you see what i mean

a real quick play but all i did was select the sky as i said and feathered it by 5 pixels then went to selective colour (sorry not sure what the equivalent is in gimp or other editing softwares) and chose cyans and upped it by 15% quite a bit really but it brought out the blue in the sky wonderfully and showed the snow as nice and white against it

Wow !! The snow on those red leaves is great. Comp and clarity spot on !!
I agree with Sharon on the sky, she did a great job with it too !!

Awesome shot John and the rework helps it pop some more - but the original is wonderful in its comp and clarity - well done team. Great show!
