Went into the big city today! Tried my new polarizer - found it made a lot of my images dark... oh well!

that actually works for me, i like the almost darkness of it, but if you are unhappy with it, don't you have to compensate for the polarizer? you know change the exposure up and the shutter down?

That is a really good cityscape Lisa - awesome clouds (The best bit of a poloriser in my opinion) give a real atmosphere to the city. Well composed shot. I agree with Sharon I kinda like the 'darkness' of it - but (again) Sharon is so right - tweak the exposure and shutter speed. You'll get there.......but this shot suggests you already are - really good ~ John
